Member Resident Scholarship Program

The Member Resident Scholarship Program sponsored by Housing Authority Insurance, Inc., has been providing scholarships to public and housing choice voucher residents since 2003. To date, more than $800,000 has been awarded to over 320 residents.

The 2016 Member Resident Scholarship Program is currently underway, offering 50 scholarships worth $2,500 each. Using ‘STARS Online’ go online and visit, select ‘Sign Up’ to create an account, then answer the questions and review the posted information.

  • You must be a resident for the last six months at a housing authority that is a member of Housing Authority Insurance, Inc.
  • You must be a U.S. Citizen
